Glutathione is a non-protein sulfhydryl tripeptide compound formed by glutamic acid, cysteine and glycine through peptide bond condensation. It is an active short peptide with wide usage.Glutathione is soluble in water, dilute alcohol, and dimethyl formamide, but insoluble in ethanol, ether .
